About us.

Next-Nest is a young, motivated company dedicated to advising both workers looking to come and settle in Switzerland and various types of companies in their selection of qualified personnel.
Unlike other consulting firms, Next-Nest was born from real, personal experience. After more than 11 years working in the restaurant industry in Switzerland, helping friends and acquaintances settle in, understand the procedures step by step, and find employment, I decided to transform that informal help into a professional project. This is how Next-Nest was born: with the goal of making the process of moving and starting a new life here easier.
We also saw firsthand a problem that particularly affects Alpine villages: the difficulty in finding and retaining staff in hotels and restaurants due to the strong seasonality of work. Many employees arrive for only three or four months and then leave in search of more stability. At Next-Nest, we want to be part of the solution, connecting companies with people willing to establish themselves long-term and build something solid.
Having lived these experiences firsthand has allowed me to understand, with complete clarity, the pressure many hotels feel when it comes to staffing each season. It's a constant challenge: building new teams from scratch, over and over again, with people who've never worked together before. I know how frustrating it can be to repeat this process every winter and summer.
Furthermore, Alpine villages have a very unique characteristic: their international character. They are such popular destinations that they attract workers from all over Europe. However, this brings with it an added difficulty: the language barrier. There isn't always a common language, and this can make daily work very complicated.
At Next-Nest, we're dedicated to advising and connecting the right people with the right companies. We analyze each candidate's skills and the specific needs of each business to create stable, functional, and mutually rewarding working relationships. Because when communication flows and the fit is right, everything works better.
